BASIC COURSE
22 weeks - once a week - 90 minutes
Teaching in Prakash Yoga of Brahmavidya is available in following three courses of ascending level.
1. Basic Course: This course is of 22 weeks and the class is conducted once a week.
2. Advance Course: This course is of 104 weeks. You can join this course only after successfully completing the Basic Course.
3. Teachers' Training Course: This course is of 96 weeks and is available only by selection. After completing the Advance Course, students are selected for this course based on their progress.
Any person above the age of 18 years can register for Basic Course.
The Basic Course of Prakash Yoga of Brahmavidya comprises of three parts:
1. Noble Eight-fold Path and other Spiritual laws teaching us the order of human life.
2. Pranayama and Spiritual Breathing Exercises which are to be practised daily, in the morning and
3. Graduated lessons in Meditation (Dhyana) - to be practised during night or early morning as may be found convenient.
It takes about 60 minutes to practice all the Spiritual Breathing Exercises taught in the Basic Course.
Of course, we do not have to devote 60 minutes from the first day and capacity of the body to exercise has to be gradually increased over a period of 22 weeks.
Practice of various Meditation techniques taught in the Basic Course requires about 60 minutes.
Depending upon the level of interest and availability of time one can devote more time, but minimum requirement is 20 minutes for Breathing Exercises in the morning and 20 minutes for Meditation at night.
The objective of this course is to achieve health & success by the practice of effective techniques of Spiritual Breathing Exercises and Meditation.
This course is meant for those, who wish to attain physical, mental & spiritual well-being; this is not for entertainment.
Regular Classroom Course
The duration of regular classroom course is 22 weeks. Classes are conducted once a week. Each session is of about 90 minutes. Printed notes/ book covering the whole course is given to every student. This notes/book is couriered to the student after registering for the course.Students are required read and practice at home during the week.
Online Course
Those who are unable to attend classroom course or residential/ non-residential camps can opt for this Online batch. The course is conducted on suitable video conferencing apps such as Zoom, Google Meet etc. The name of the app is given in the timetable and students should note the app while registering for a particular batch. This course operates in two modules:
1. 22 Weeks - Classes are conducted once a week. Each session is of about 90 minutes
2. 11 Weeks - Classes are conducted twice a week (3 days gap between 2 sessions.).Each session is of about 90 minutes.
Basic Course Residential Camp
Residential camp is conducted for a duration of 5 days. Once a student has registered for a residential camp, he has travel to the camp venue on his own and stay for 4 nights 5 days. Usually, on 5th day after all the sessions are over, the students can travel back.
The entire syllabus of Basic Course is taught in 5 days by 3 experienced Brahmavidya teachers.

Postal Course
A person can register online for the postal course. A teacher is assigned to every postal course student. Course material is couriered to students after registration. The student has to read the course material and practice accordingly at home. Students can ask queries to the assigned teacher via email/phone.
Donation:
1. Rs. 5,000/- per person residing in India including course material for classroom, online and postal mode.
2. The donation for Residential Camp is given separately in the timetable.
3. The donation has to be paid online at the time of registration. The registration is not valid without payment.
