Revered Gurus

Embark on a journey through the lives of three remarkable individuals shaping the legacy of Brahmavidya. Edwin John Dingle, alias Ding Le Mei, introduced ancient Tibetan wisdom to the West. Guru Jyotirmayanand, a devoted student of Ding Le Mei, tirelessly shared the knowledge of Brahmavidya across India. Today, Guru Jayant Divekar, a modern luminary, furthers this legacy by translating ancient knowledge in regional languages and fostering its dissemination through a charitable trust. Together, these masters guide seekers on a profound path of self-discovery and enlightenment.

Guru, Jayant Divekar

An IIT engineer, Management post graduate from IIM Bangalore, Vice President of a leading business conglomerate in India, an eminent personality in the modern world.

A luminary in spiritual world of Brahmavidya (Mentalphysics) beloved Guru, Jayant Divekar!! True wisdom carefully covered underneath his humble and inclusive nature so that one can hardly make out his greatness. He who recognizes his light but remains in dark is the model of the world. He started learning Brahmavidya from his guru, Guru Jyotirmayananda in 1983 at very young age. He started teaching Brahmavidya in 1989 in English.

During his study in 6 years he translated all 3 levels of Brahmavidya syllabus (around 1500 pages) into Marathi. Originated in India, the knowledge can be better learnt in an Indian language. Hence now it is available in hindi and gujarati as well.

Understanding the need to spread the knowledge of Brahmavidya systematically a charitable trust was founded under guidance of Guru Jayant Divekar with blessings of Guru Jyotirmayanand in 1997. About 200 teachers well trained and tested under his discipline and able guidance are teaching Brahmavidya in more than 300 centers in India and outside. His sole purpose is upliftment of human society as a whole.

He has been a true seeker since his childhood and ever eager to learn the secret of his existence. He says that there is no shortcut to the ultimate knowledge. You can know the creator by becoming yourself – true awakening!

Guru, Jyotirmayanand

Guruji, as his students reverently called him was 1st of few students who learnt all the courses of Brahmavidya (Mentalphysics) by correspondance from 'Guru Ding Le mei'.

It is only for the dedicated and loving efforts of this humble soul that we are enjoying the privilege of learning the Brahmavidya. If he had stopped at expressing his heartfelt gratitude to his Guru in a mere 'Thank you' we would not be relishing its fruits.

He was not able to join the course in 1945 when he first heard about it for lack of funds. But with the burning desire to learn he arranged for the fees and joined the course in 1947. After learning all the courses, Guruji started teaching in 1977.

He used to work till evening in his cyclostyling business at Tardeo and would then conduct classes at various suburbs - Matunga, Chembur, Dombivali, Goregaon, Borivali, Mulund etc.

He never charged any fees or donations for his service. In spite of his modest means, he would bear the expenses, also of cyclostyling the notes for his students.

Guruji could never meet Guru Ding Le Mei in person, but in 1985 he visited The Institute of Mentalphysics, USA. where his work in India was appreciated by conferring upon him the title –Jyotirmayananda (Blissful Embodiment of light).

Upon returning to India a Charitable Trust was formed for promoting Brahmavidya. The response in terms of number of students was less but this didn't deter him from spreading the light like the Sun, who is not bothered about the number of people who are using his light but keeps on shining of his own nature.

As students of Brahmavidya doing our best to spread the message of Brahmavidya would be the right homage to Guruji and a token of our gratitude.

Returning to the West, he began sharing the teachings and practices he had learned in Tibet, first in New York (1927) and later in Los Angeles.
