Adult's Basic Residential Camp

Any person above the age of 18 yrs can register for the camp. The objective of the residential camp is to achieve health & success by the practice of spiritual breathing exercises & effective techniques of meditation. This camp is meant for those, who wish to attain physical, mental & spiritual well being; this is not for entertainment.

Residential camp is conducted for the duration of 5 days for the seekers who are unable to join other regular modules. Once a student is registered for a residential camp, he/she should travel to the camp venue on his/her own and stay for 4 nights 5 days. Usually, on 5th day after all the sessions are over, the students can travel back.

The entire syllabus of Brahmavidya basic course is taught in 5 days by 3 experienced Brahmavidya teachers.

On 1st day, The rooms are allotted on the spot to each student. Food is provided at the venue. Please view the accommodation & food section for more details.

The day at camp typically starts early morning with Brahmavidya practice. Brahmavidya teaching sessions and practices are conducted throughout the day. Sufficient rest is allowed in between the sessions for the students.

In the evening, some recreational activity may be organized by the students themselves as appropriate.

Donation :

  • The donation amount is not fixed. It differs from camp to camp. Camp donation is given in the registration form and it includes course material, lodging and food.
  • Donation charges can be paid online or in cash or by cheque in office in person or by courier.
  • Cheque should be drawn on the name of "Brahmavidya Sadhak Charitable Trust".
  • Payment once received will not be reimbursed on any grounds. Also, it is not transferable.
  • To & Fro travel cost to be borne by the participant.
  • Registration would be considered as confirmed only on receipt of payment in the office.
  • Registration is on 1st come 1st served basis.
  • The receipt, registration form, information about the schedule of the camp, will be sent by courier on receipt of the payment.

Accommodation :

  • Accommodation is provided on a twin sharing basis. Separate accommodation is provided for ladies & gents.
  • Clean & Decent rooms with attached toilet bathroom are provided.
  • Each person is provided with a bed, mattress, pillow & blanket.
  • Adequate & clean restrooms including western-style toilets are available.
  • If more than one member from the same family attends the camp, they should pack their bags separately, as they may not be accommodated in the same quarter.

Food :

  • Delicious pure vegetarian food is provided.
  • Tea/Coffee, breakfast, lunch & dinner is provided. Tea/Coffee is served thrice a day.
  • Vegetarian cuisine served including rice, chapatis, vegetables, dal, salad, papad, pickle etc.
  • The meals are simple & filling. The same meal is served to everyone.
  • There is no facility for providing special meals. Breakfast includes tea & snacks like poha, upma etc.

Camp Regulations :

  • Maintaining self-discipline is of utmost importance.
  • Each day will be divided into 3 study sessions; each person is individually responsible for attending all sessions.
  • Brahmavidya Sadhak Sangh will not be held responsible for the safety & well-being of participants.
  • Brahmavidya Sadhak Sangh reserves all rights to make any change in the daily schedule at last minute due to some unforeseen difficulties or unavoidable circumstances.
  • The donation for the workshop will not be refunded under any condition. Also, it will not be transferable to any other name.

What should participant bring with them?

  • Things needed for daily use, including change of clothes, washing detergent, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving kit, bath soap and other toiletries, handtowel/napkin/bath towel.
  • Daily medicines for whoever applicable, for all those needing daily medication, please bring along your doctor's prescription as well as drugs needed in case of medical emergencies.
  • Torch/Flashlight is essential.
  • Water bottle, towel, napkin, extra pair of slippers.
  • Warm clothes depending on the location and season of the workshop.
  • Baggage Lock & key
  • Mosquito repellant such as odomos/good night/Casper etc.

What should participant avoid doing?

  • Going out alone at night.
  • Not informing the teachers/group leaders while going out.
  • Bringing jewellery/valuables to the venue(If brought then it will be their own responsibility).
  • No liquor/ cigars.
  • Do not bring transistors and similar items to the camp.

Note : For all those wishing to present their talent during the entertainment time at night, musical instrument & other instruments can be brought to the venue at the owner's risk.
