Donate Generously for Our Arohan Ashram
We are pleased to inform you that our Arohan Ashram has started functioning. The first residential camp at the Ashram was concluded on 27th May 2024.
Our ashram plot which is about 18 acres was purchased in 2011. The plot is located at a distance of 30 kms from Lonavala railway station and is endowed with natural scenic beauty. It is situated between Uksan and Shiravata Dam. From the top of the hill in our Ashram one can get a beautiful view of both these dams.
The plot is well connected by a motorable road. ST bus service and other transport facilities are available from Lonavala and Kamshet (the nearest town at a distance of 14 kms.). It takes about three hours from Thane/Mumbai and two hours from Pune to reach the Ashram by car.
In the first phase of construction, we have completed residential blocks for accommodating about 70 persons on a twin sharing basis, lecture halls, a dining hall, and kitchen. The facilities are designed in such a manner that we can conduct two residential camps simultaneously.

After purchasing the plot, the commencement of construction was delayed for a very long time due to various reasons beyond our control. During this period, the construction costs increased substantially. We greatly appreciate the patience and trust of our students who continued donating without question. It is only because of their generosity that we have completed the first phase of construction. As a token of our appreciation, we have formulated a scheme under which students who donated for our Ashram before 27th March 2024 can stay at our Ashram at a concessional rate or for free. The details of the scheme are attached with this appeal.
The Vastu Shanti function was performed on 27th March 2024. Since that day, hundreds of our students have visited the Ashram and all have appreciated it. Looking at the enthusiasm, we feel that the current facility will soon be fully utilized and that we need to embark upon the second phase of construction.
In the second phase of construction, we plan to construct two residential buildings and one meditation hall. The two residential buildings will have a capacity to accommodate about 140 persons on a twin sharing basis. The estimated cost for constructing these three buildings is about 30 crores.
With the large number of our students, we are confident that we will raise this amount in a short duration. We appeal to all our students to donate generously so that we can begin the second phase of construction as soon as possible.

To encourage the use of Ashram facilities, we have formulated a scheme under which the donor student can become an Arohan member. Such members can use the Ashram facilities free of charge or at a concessional rate. The details of this membership scheme are attached with this appeal.
We hope that our Ashram will help spread the teachings of Brahmavidya far and wide. We humbly request you to avail this opportunity and express as much gratitude as possible. Above all, donate with joy so that what we create becomes a symbol of joy.
